Neighborhood News
Do you or a neighbor need to replace a tree
or add a tree in your yard?
This has been a topic of interest to several neighbors who have attended recent
Mayfair Park Neighborhood Association meetings. We have a solution!
The Park People is a local nonprofit organization that offers free and low-cost
trees to Denver residents. Our Association region is part of the Hilltop neighborhood, so each tree would cost $50. Trees can be planted in the Public
Right-of-Way or on private property. To be considered you must apply online.
Tree applications open in early January and are due February 15. Trees go fast so
they recommend that you apply in early January. Tree pick-up is in April.
Submit your application and read more about the program here:

We will reach out by email again after applications close to find out how many neighbors were successful in purchasing a tree. We can then facilitate the planting process by organizing volunteers to help pick up and plant trees or by getting a neighborhood-wide bid from a trusted landscape contractor.
